Help us deliver real, tangible and immediate positive outcomes for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
When Dr Lowitja O'Donoghue AC CBE DSG agreed to have the Institute named after her she entrusted in us to have her spirit and energy embodied within it and that the Institute relect her values and priorities. She told us to be a courageous organisation committed to social justice and equity for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and to match words with action to achieve real, tangible and immediate outcomes through high impact quality research and knowledge exchange and translation. By supporting a new generation of health researchers, you will
- Join our key purpose to value the health and wellbeing of Australia's First Peoples
- Support principles of Abopriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership
- Promote a broader understanding that incorporates ambitious, rigorous and culturally safe work that has a clear and positive impact
- Help us achieve Dr Lowitja O'Donoghue's vision
