Wendy Ah Chin is originally from Mt. Isa, and a descendant from
the Wannyi people in North West Queensland. Wendy grew up in
Katherine and has lived in Darwin since 1993.
Wendy brings a wealth of skills, experience and leadership in
policy and program administration and management at a high level.
She has a health science degree from Edith Cowan University and a
Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Management from Flinders
University, and has worked in Indigenous affairs across the health,
education and employment sectors.
Before joining the CRCAH Wendy was working in a senior role at
the Commonwealth Department of Education, Employment and Workplace
Relations. She currently lectures at Charles Darwin University on
Indigenous employment.
