With a Master in International Public Health (University of
Sydney), Scott joins the CRCAH with 18 years of experience in
health promotion and community development. He has previously
worked in the fields of sexual health, non-communicable diseases
and quality use of medicines. Scott’s career has moved away
from senior management roles to explore the relationship between
research and the role that research plays in influencing practice
and, in particular, program design. He is currently undertaking a
PhD in Public Health, exploring the impact of Aboriginal Medical
Services in building community capacity in Indigenous
communities
