Fay Acklin

Primary Health Care, Health Systems and Workforce program
Fay’s mother was of the Yidinji (Atherton Tableland)
and her father was a Kuku-yalanji (Cooktown, Laura and Palmer River
area). Fay has had extensive experience in health care
and education. Her professional experience has included working as
a Registered Nurse, working in both in country and metropolitan
hospitals. More recently she has worked as a Lecturer and
Senior Lecturer in the tertiary education sector. Fay has also been
involved in primary health care research, both as a member of a
research team and as a Project Leader. She is currently undertaking
a PhD.
